Chris has over 25 years of industrial relations and employment law experience, having worked across a range of sectors; he holds an MA in Industrial Relations and Employment Law and is working on a Ph.D. in the field.
Chris has found his professional home working with and for Schools and is a well-known figure in the education sector. Chris is renowned for his no-nonsense practical advice and guidance. He has experience of the entire gamut of Schools’ people issues, and a track record of creating and delivering solutions
Emma is an Associate member of the CIPD and has over 10 years’ experience supporting schools and Academies from both an internal perspective, as Director of HR and member of the Senior Leadership Team at an inner-city academy and externally as Senior HR Adviser on behalf of the Schools HR Team at Leeds City Council.
Emma has a passion for improving standards in education and is one of the Founder Members of the Priestley Academy Trust based in Manningham, Bradford. She prides herself on her solutions-focused approach and ability to resolve even the most difficult of issues swiftly and efficiently
With a decade of working with and for Schools under his belt Adam is a Chartered CIPD member with Postgrad qualifications; his grounded approach to complex issues is much-beloved by the Schools he supports, as is his wealth of real-world real solutions to the issues that keep Headteachers and Governors awake at night.
Mandy is an experienced health care professional at the heart of The Schools People Health and Wellbeing services. With twenty years’ experience of working in the NHS and specialisms in district nursing and health promotion, Mandy is a passionate advocate for proactive care.
Over the past 8 years Mandy has led the development of the Wellbeing services for Schools/Academies, managing a national team of nurses who work in client schools regionally, delivering wellbeing support which encompasses both physical and mental health. Mandy and the in-house team speak daily to individuals working in schools, offering confidential support and services based on current best practice.
Dee’s role includes a range of administrative, analytical and organisational responsibilities in relation to service delivery and development, marketing, project management. Prior to working for The Schools People, Dee spent 10 years as Head of Operations at the Open College of the Arts.
Dee holds a BSc in Archaeology and professional qualifications in Leadership, Management & Administration; Marketing, and Health & Safety (NEBOSH). A member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Dee is studying towards their Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe, and Certified Information Privacy Manager qualifications
